One man is dead and a 7-year-old is injured after a crash Monday in Fort Worth, police say.
Officers were called just after 1 p.m. to the 7000 block Lakeside Drive at Altamesa Boulevard, where they said a truck crashed into a tree, partially ejecting the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt.
The driver, identified as 37-year-old Jordan Brasier, of Fort Worth, was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 7-year-old passenger was transported to Cook Children's Hospital.
The condition of the child and the cause of the crash are not currently known.
