Inspired by caring for her mother diagnosed with Alzheimer's Disease, caregiver advocate Pat Bailey will hold an expo this Saturday.
Bailey wants experienced and inexperienced caregivers to learn about everything from housing to handling finances and managing their own stress.
The "She Ages Well" Expo will be Saturday, Dec. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at The Summit at 2975 Esplanade in Grand Prairie.
Nearly a dozen vendors and workshops will provide information on:
• Transitioning parents to a new home
• Facts about Alzheimer's Disease
• Personal Care Solutions for the Bedridden
• What is Palliative Care
• Department of Veteran Affairs Benefits
• Hospice Care
