Police say a man a woman were found dead inside a Wylie home Friday morning after a murder-suicide. [[362940861,C]]
Wylie police said they received a call from a man who was barricaded inside a home in the 3600 block of Catalpa Drive at about 7:30 a.m.
Police said they thought the man's wife and adult son were in the house with him. A witness later told police they saw a man running from the home.
After trying to contact the man inside the house, officers sent a robot into the home and saw the bodies of a man and a woman. They were identified as 59-year-old Samson Young and 54-year-old Elaine Young.
Nearby R.V. Groves Elementary School was on perimeter lockdown during the police investigation, according to Wylie Independent School District officials.
