Last night Dallas Fire-Rescue units responded to a water rescue call, after an elderly homeless man was swept into a storm drain, near the intersection of West Northwest Highway and Vantex Drive.
Firefighters searched the area for over an hour, until the man was found alive and well a short distance away, near the 11000 block of Shady Trail.
The man was uninjured and refused to be taken to the hospital.
