The National Weather Service confirms an EF-0 tornado touched down in Edgewood Friday, with wind speeds up to 80 mph.
The tornado snapped trees and ripped brick from at least one home in Van Zandt County.
Melissa Horn was home alone when her back porch was ripped apart and the front bricks were peeled off the front of her house.

“My biggest fear, I’ve lived through it and I’m OK,” she said. “I just hated having to be here by myself and going through that.”
Minor damage was also reported at other nearby homes.
