Three Chili's restaurants in North Texas are honoring the memory of police officer Craig Shaw and Jeremy McMillan by donating 10 percent of all sales on Tuesday, July 20 and Thursday July 22, to funds set up to help the victims families.
Officer Shaw and McMillan were killed on Father's Day during a shootout with David Brown Jr., the son of the Dallas Police Chief David Brown.
Shaw is married with 2 children and McMillan, who has been called an innocent bystander in the shooting, had a brand new baby boy.
"We firmly stand behind our community and our guests who dine with us," said Mike Young, manager at Chili's Grill & Bar in Lancaster. "The late officer Shaw and Jeremy McMillan were regular guests at our restaurant and we are honored to assist these families during this very difficult time."
Money will be raised from dine-in and to go orders. The Chili's restaurants are in Lancaster at 530 N Interstate 35E, Cedar Hill at 376 N. state Highway 67 and Wheatland Towne Crossing at 2503 W. Wheatland Road.
