Eastbound I-30 Back Open in Arlington After Crash

Arlington Police issued a traffic alert just before 6:30 p.m. Friday night after shutting down the eastbound lanes of I-30 at Collins Street.

The highway reopened just after 8 p.m. Friday night.

Investigators say there has been a major crash along the highway and an air ambulance was called in and was forced to land in the main eastbound lanes of I-30.

We are waiting to get more information about the crash.

The Texas Rangers are playing tonight at Globe Life Park as well, with the first pitch going out at 7:05 so traffic is expected to be heavier than normal in that area.
