Earthquake Rattles Reno Early Saturday Morning

Another small earthquake rattled the Parker County town of Reno early Saturday morning according to the US Geological Survey.

According to the USGS the Magnitude 2.9 quakte was recorded 1 mile southwest of Reno at 3:34 a.m.

The USGS scales shows Saturday's quake would have felt like the passing of light trucks strong enough to be felt indoors, causing hanging objects swing.

Counting Saturday's quake, since the beginning of the month, there have been nearly a dozen earthquakes.

The Texas Railroad Commission and the United States Geological Survey are investigating the series of small quakes in Parker County.
