Dyson Brings Electric Stuff Out of Rangers Bullpen

Texas Rangers reliever Sam Dyson was a big part of the team's success in winning the American League West Division in 2015.

Dyson, who was traded to the Rangers from Miami in the middle of the season, has electric stuff coming out of the bullpen, and played the best baseball of his career with the Rangers after that trade.

"From day one, the guys on this team made me feel at home, and I just rolled with it," Dyson said.

"You're always hoping for the best, but the defense behind me was making diving plays and all that, and they are a huge reason I was successful here," he added.

In addition to the division title, Dyson another championship under his belt. Back in 2010, he was one of the best players on the South Carolina Gamecocks team that won the College World Series.

"We were a scrappy bunch of guys, and it looked like we were going to be out of it early because we lost the first game," Dyson said. "But we strung six wins in a row or something like that, and I was just lucky to be a part it."
