Two people are dead after a two-vehicle crash in Forest Hill early Sunday morning.
The crash happened at the intersection of Hartman Road and Richard at about 3 a.m. Sunday and involved an SUV driven by Jose Salinas-Gomez and and a sedan carrying four passengers, according to police.
Officers arrested Salinas-Gomez for suspicion of driving while intoxicated and booked him into the Forest Hill Police Department Jail, Capt. Jerry Cozby, police spokesman, said in a written statement.
Two of the passengers were dead upon arrival when officers arrived at the scene. The driver and another passenger were transported to a local hospital, Cozby said.
Their conditions were not immediately known.
The identities of the deceased have not yet been released and police have not said what charges Salinas-Gomez is expected to face.
