Forest Hill police are looking for the gunman who got out of a car at an intersection and opened fire on another driver, sending her to the hospital early Friday morning.
Police said two women were stopped at the intersection of California Parkway and Hartman Road when the driver in front of them exited a vehicle, pointed a weapon at her SUV and began shooting at about 1:50 Friday morning.
One of the bullets entered the woman’s vehicle, striking her in the foot, police said.

The two women drove off, police said, and found a nearby Forest Hill police officer who called for an ambulance. The woman was taken to an area hospital with injuries that are not life threatening.
Police said they have not revealed a motive in the shooting or made any arrests. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
