A driver is in the hospital after his semi-tractor trailer hit a guardrail and flipped onto its side in Denton.
Denton police said that at about 12:00 p.m. Sunday, the 18-wheeler was traveling north on I-35E in Denton, when witnesses saw it swaying from side to side. As the semi tried to exit the highway it hit the guardrail and flipped onto its side.
Officials said that the driver was able to get out of the truck but later lost consciousness.
Police said that the driver was taken to Medical Center Plano. His condition is not known at this time.
Denton police are investigating what caused the truck to flip over.
Officials said that all lanes of traffic are about to open back up.
