Police said one person is in custody after a chase through Dallas and Rockwall counties Tuesday morning.
Grand Prairie police said the pursuit began after officers tried to stop a possible stolen vehicle on Interstate 30 near Interstate 635 at about 4 a.m.
The driver then went through northern Rockwall County, into Sachse and then headed south on Texas 78 into Garland. Authorities said the driver then continued south on northbound Texas 78.
Police said the driver stopped at a convenience store near the corner of Texas H78 and North First Street in Garland and was taken into custody.
No injuries or crashes were reported.
