Dozens of Shots Fired at Arlington Home, 1 Wounded

Police said one person was shot multiple times when someone opened fire on an Arlington home early Monday morning.  [[421594763,C]]

It happened at around 3:00am in the 600 block of East Sanford Street.

Arlington Police said several people were inside the home and in the backyard, apparently sleeping, when shots rang out.

Crime scene investigators marked about two dozen shell casings outside the home. Bullet holes were also visible in vehicles parked along the road.

The victim was rushed to the hospital. Police say that person's injuries do not appear to be life threatening.

No one else was injured. The Red Cross provided assistance to others who were in the home.

Police have no suspect information at this time. They're asking anyone with information about this crime to contact them immediately.
