Donald Trump will continue his three-stop tour of Texas after rallying supporters and donors in Dallas.
Trump marked his one-year anniversary of his presidential campaign launch with an invitation-only fundraiser before meeting a crowd of about 3,000 people inside Gilley's South Side Ballroom Friday evening.
In a tweet, Trump praised an "amazing crowd last night in Dallas - more spirit and passion than ever before."
Thursday's rally remained relatively peaceful, with about 1,500 to 1,800 police officers assigned to work during the visit. A large police presence stood guard outside the Dallas hotel where Trump stayed overnight.
After departing from Dallas Love Field, Trump will make an afternoon stop in San Antonio for a fundraiser event. He ends his Texas tour with a third big-dollar fundraiser in the Woodlands, north of Houston.
