DFW Has First Official 100-Degree Day

It has been feeling like a scorcher but it's not official until they say it is at DFW Airport, and today was the day.

The mercury topped out 100 degrees Monday afternoon for the first time this year, and it's not even summer yet.

The summer solstice, the official first day of summer, comes next Tuesday afternoon, on June 21.

You can expect more heat this week. According to the NBC DFW Meteorologists' forecast, North Texas will be near 100 all week with no rain in sight. Lows overnight will stay in the upper 70s.
