"End the Streak!" was the rally cry at Denton Guyer High School Friday afternoon.
The football team starts its season Friday night with a big game against the Allen Eagles, who have a 43-game winning streak on the line and are re-opening Allen Eagle Stadium after a year of repairs.
To send the team off, Guyer held a pep rally Friday where students and fans said they were excited to set the pace for the coming year.
Guyer won back-to-back state titles in 2012 and 2013 and is ranked by many as one of the best high school teams in the state this year.
