Construction of the deck park on top of Woodall Rodgers freeway is moving right along.
Crews are about 80 percent finished with the crossbeams that span the 5.2-acre site and 40 percent of the waterproofing is complete.
Once construction is completed, trees, plants, lawns and other outdoor touches will be added to turn the deck into a luxurious greenspace.

The park is planned to be completed in the fall of 2012.
