The deadly North Texas storms in December damaged hundreds of vehicles.
Most of those cars were towed away to make room for cleanup crews hauling debris out of tornado ravaged neighborhoods.
The city of Rowlett contracted with Cathey Towing and Martin Services to tow several vehicles to Herfurth Park for temporary storage.
More than a hundred damaged vehicles remain at the park.
Officials are encouraging tornado victims to pick up their vehicles before Friday, Jan. 15. There is no charge or fee to resident who claim their vehicles before the deadline.
Any vehicles left on the temporary site will be processed for auction.
