A Dallas Area Rapid Transit bus operator was killed after he was struck by a bus Monday morning, DART officials said. [[310617701,C]]
Officials said the driver was pinned under the bus after being struck at the Bachman Transfer Station near the 2400 block of Webb Chapel Extension near Harry Hines Boulevard at about 5 a.m.
The driver was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas where he died, DART spokesman Mark Ball said.
There is no word yet on the cause of the crash.
No passengers were on the bus.
