A Dallas resident was this close to winning the full Mega Millions prize during a drawing on July 5.
Thomas Solis, who lives in Dallas, won a second-tier Mega Millions Prize—only missing the jackpot by one number, according to Texas Lottery officials.
We don’t feel too bad, however. Solis is coming home with almost $1 million after matching all five of the white ball numbers (29-46-53-64-73), and only missing the Mega Ball number (10).

According to the Texas Lottery, Solis bought his Mega Millions ticket at a Tom Thumb at 315 S. Hampton Road in Dallas.
An Indiana resident is the winner of the $540 million jackpot in the drawing on July 8. However, that ticket is still unclaimed.
For now, Solis should rest easy with his $1 million prize.
