Dallas Police Want to Identify Man in Sexual Assault

The Dallas Police Department is investigating an assault that happened last week, and are now asking for the public's help in locating the man responsible.

Police said on Thursday, Nov. 17, a woman in her 30s was walking near Holmes Street and Park Row in Dallas at about noon when she accepted a ride from a man driving a dark colored Ford Fusion.

The man drove to a secluded area where he physically assaulted the woman using a weapon, according to police.

Police said the abuse didn't stop there. The man then drove around to different locations and sexually assaulted the victim. The woman was eventually dropped off near Interstate 30 and North Cockrell Hill Road.

Police are now asking for the public's help to identify the man. He is described as a black male, about 30-40 years old, 5-feet 10-inches tall, with a medium athletic build, a goatee and a close fade haircut.

He may also have tattoos under his eye, police said. He was last seen wearing a suede-type gold or tan blazer with matching shoes, a navy blue or white polka-dot button up short-sleeved shirt and denim jeans.

If you have any information about the identity of this person, please contact the Dallas Police Department. If you wish to remain anonymous, you may call Crime Stoppers at (214) 373-TIPS (8477).
