Update: Dallas police said they safely located a 73-year-old man Friday morning after he went missing Thursday evening.
Russell Boyd was in good condition when he was found police said.
A silver alert has been activated for Boyd, who suffers from dementia. He had last been seen driving his red 2014 Ford F150 pickup truck in the 9900 block of Webb Chapel Road at about 11 p.m. Thursday.
Boyd is described as white, 6 foot 1 inches with a bald head and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a yellow t-shirt and black jeans.
