A Dallas police officer is OK after another driver slammed into his patrol car overnight before driving away.
Dallas police said the officer was hit at about 3:30 a.m. while at the intersection of Sylvester Street and Maple Avenue.
The driver didn't stop and police didn't reveal a good description of the vehicle.
The officer was not injured and the patrol car suffered only minimal damage.
