A Dallas police officer has been charged with driving while intoxicated.

Cedar Hill police arrested Senior Corporal Kevin Masters on Monday.

The Dallas Morning News reports that Masters had his two children in the vehicle when he was arrested, both under the age of 15.

Masters has been with DPD since July 2001. He is assigned to the Community Engagement section.

Masters is on administrative leave pending an internal affairs investigation.
