A child reportedly kidnapped Tuesday afternoon has been found safe and a person of interest arrested, police say.
Police have released few details about the case and are expected to release more information Tuesday afternoon.
Investigators said shortly after 1 p.m. a child had reportedly been taken from a location on the 5300 block of West Jefferson Boulevard near Loop 12.
The person who reportedly took the child was taken into custody on Gibbs Williams Road, about four miles from where abduction reportedly took place.
Police said the suspected kidnapper was a person who is not related to the child but knows the child's mother.
