Dallas police said they found the woman's body in White Rock Creek along the 7800 block of East Grand Avenue.

Officers told NBC 5 the woman, who they believe was homeless, passed out in her camping spot, rolled into the water and drowned.

Investigators found prescription pills at the scene that may have contributed to the woman's death and said her body showed no signs of foul play or other trauma.

Police said they are waiting for the results of an autopsy to confirm their theory and classifying the woman's death as unexplained until then.
