Dallas Police Arrest Three Men in Connection With Body of Woman Found in Trinity River

Police said they arrested three men Wednesday in connection with the murder of a woman in Dallas in March.

Dallas police said officers the woman — later identified as 31-year-old Lisa Saenz — dead in the Trinity River near the 200 block of Santa Fe Avenue at 11:39 p.m. March 10. The victim had been shot multiple times.

In an arrest warrant, detectives said witnesses and surveillance video led them to believe Saenz had been kidnapped.

Investigators said an anonymous tip led them to arrest 28-year-old Kevin Kidd, 31-year-old Emmanuel Kilpatrick and 35-year-old Jermon Simmons in connection with the killing.

Kidd, Kilpatrick and Simmons were arrested and charged with capital murder. Each man's bond was set at $1 million.
