Dallas police hope new information will lead to the arrest of the person who hit and killed a Good Samaritan last month.
It was on April 20 at about 1 a.m. on U.S. Highway 67 when 47-year-old Michael Anthony Love pulled over to help a woman who, with six sleeping children in the car, ran out of gas.
Love took the time to assist Rishonda King, but before he could pour the gas into her car another driver swerved and hit him.
King said Love threw her out of the way, saving her life before he was struck and killed.

Police analyzed the debris from the wreck and Friday announced they believe it was a 1992 or 1994 gray or silver Mercury Grand Marquis four-door sedan that struck Love.
Officers said the suspect vehicle will have a large hole in the windshield and will be missing the passenger side mirror, possibly a turn signal lens and chrome trim.
The driver may have cuts on his or her hands and face from the glass.
Love’s best friend, Jerome Sheffield, said his family is praying for the perpetrator to come forward.
“They have to had seen it on the news that this man died saving someone’s life,” Sheffield said.
“So I’m hoping that’s weighing on their conscience that they killed a man trying to help somebody else. So I hope that’s weighing on their conscience very heavily.”
Oak Farms Dairy is offering a $10,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest and Grand Jury indictment of the suspect.
