Two Dallas police officers were injured Tuesday after being tackled and bitten following a traffic stop, police say.
According to police, an officer pulled over a driver and was then tackled. The person who tackled the officer then ran into a nearby apartment complex.
Several other Dallas officers arrived to search for the person.
The driver was eventually found but put up a struggle as officers attempted to take him into custody. Police confirm that one officer was bitten on the arm when the man was subdued.
The officer who was bitten was transported to an area hospital for treatment. The officer who was tackled was also injured. Her condition is not yet known.
