Dallas Cowboys Make Several Additions to the Offensive Line

The Dallas Cowboys released the following information in a statement released about the teams transactions heading into training camp:

The Dallas Cowboys waived T David Hedelin (Purdue) and placed T Charles Brown (Southern California) on Reserve/Retired on Tuesday. The club replaced those two by signing tackles Darryl Baldwin (Ohio State) and Cameron Bradfield (Grand Valley State).

Baldwin signed with the Baltimore Ravens as a rookie free agent following the 2015 NFL Draft, but was released before the regular season started. He was out of football before signing with the Cincinnati Bengals during the 2016 offseason. Baldwin played in 48 games with 15 starts at right tackle while at Ohio State. All 15 of his starts game as a senior in 2014 when the Buckeyes claimed the National Championship.

Bradfield originally signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as a rookie free agent in July 2011, and in four seasons with the team, started 27 of the 41 games he played (out of a possible 64).

He started the first two games at right tackle for Jacksonville in 2014 before his release on Sept. 16. Bradfield then signed with the Atlanta Falcons on Sept. 30, was inactive for seven games then released on Nov. 28. He signed a future contract with the Arizona Cardinals on Jan. 1, 2015, was cut before the first game of the 2015 season and was out of football. Bradfield was a three-year starter at Grand Valley State.
