Dallas County Reports Five More Flu-Related Deaths

Dallas County health officials report five new flu-related deaths. 

Officials with Dallas County Health and Human Services said to The Dallas Morning News that less people are testing positive for the flu, but the virus continues to spread.

Health officials reported five more flu-related deaths for the week ending Jan. 18. The death total is now 40 within Dallas County.

The latest report out of Dallas County comes after the Denton County Health Department reported its fifth flu-related death on Friday.

There have been six confirmed flu-related deaths in Tarrant County, five in Denton County, four in Hunt County, four in Collin County and one each in Hunt and Wise counties.
