The Dallas Arboretum is offering a discounted admission rate to help visitors escape the urban sprawl during the month of August.
Through Aug. 31, you can get $1 general garden admission and $1 admission into the children's adventure garden. The garden is also discounting parking during August to $5.
Food is also discounted during August, with $1 sodas, juice and frozen pops, $2 root beer floats and hot dogs and $4 brownie sundaes.
"We look forward to record attendance this August, thanks to our partnership with Reliant to present August Dollar Days," said Mark Wolf, Dallas Arboretum board chairman, in a release. "For only $2 per person, everyone can come enjoy the beautiful gardens and experience the nationally acclaimed Children's Adventure Garden at such an affordable price."
