EX-TEACHER AT CHRISTIAN SCHOOL ACCUSED OF HAVING SEX WITH STUDENT
A former teacher at a Christian school is facing sexual assault charges, Azle police said.  Tarrant County Sheriff's deputies arrested Julianna Sauls, 38, on Wednesday. (NBC DFW)

POLICE ARREST DRIVER THAT RUPTURED ARLINGTON GAS LINE
A suspected drunken driver who caused a gas leak after hitting a gas line on Caplin Drive at New York Avenue was arrested Wednesday night. A mandatory evacuation wasn't issued, but several residents left their homes as a precaution. (NBC DFW)

TIP LEADS POLICE TO CONVICTED CAR THEIF
Dallas police said a convicted car thief who surfed the Web for victims was arrested in a raid Thursday morning in Fort Worth.  Police said an anonymous tip led officers to Fadel Assane, 24. (NBC DFW)

MILITARY ID THEFT RING STEALS MORE THAN $1 MILLION, POLICE SAY
A former U.S. Navy petty officer at Fort Worth's Joint Reserve Base accessed secret military databases and compromised the identities of 8,000 sailors and reservists, police said. (NBC DFW)

TRACTOR-TRAILER CHASE ENDS WITH CRASH IN HURST
A tractor trailer led authorities early today on a chase that began in Dallas, wound its way through Irving and ended up in a back yard in Bedford, officials say. Police arrested Jose Reyes, 36, who was treated for minor injuries at Parkland Memorial Hospital before being transferred to the Dallas County Jail. (Dallas Morning News)

3 ARMED MEN ROB FORT WORTH GUN STORE, EXCHANGE GUNFIRE WITH CLERK
Parker County authorities are looking for three armed men who robbed a gun store on the Jacksboro Highway and exchanged gunfire with the store clerk today. (Star-Telegram)

WONG SENTENCED IN DISD BRIBERY, MONEY-LAUNDERING SCHEME
Frankie Wong, a businessman from Houston, was sentenced Thursday following his conviction involving offenses related to his operation of a bribery and money laundering scheme involving DISD technology contracts. (NBC DFW)

MISTRIAL DECLARED IN N. RICHLAND HILLS TATTOO ARTIST’S RAPE TRIAL
A judge declared a mistrial Thursday afternoon in the sexual assault trial of an Azle tattoo artist accused of raping a customer in 2006 at a North Richland Hills business after she had asked for a tattoo. (Star-Telegram)
