POLICE ARREST TWO SUSPECTS IN PLANO HOMICIDE CASE
Two suspects have been arrested in connection with the death of a man found in a house in the 3900 block of San Mateo Drive on March 6, Plano police said. Geneva Lynn Mainord, 44, of Forney, and Steven Donald Knezek, 46, of Wylie, have both been charged with capital murder and are being held under $500,000 bonds. Mainord is being held at the Plano City Jail and Knezek is being held at the Collin County Detention Center in McKinney, TX.  Police said Mainord and Knezek were associates of the victim.

FATHER, SON ARRESTED, ACCUSED OF BURGLARY
A father and son were arrested after they allegedly kicked in the door of a home in the 5100 block of Mack Road on Tuesday, Haltom City police said. Joe Gutierrez and Joe Gutierrez, Jr. drove off in a black Cadillac after the homeowner confronted the pair, police said. Police picked them up a short while later and officers said they found stolen credit cards in the men's possession.

TARRANT COUNTY DEPUTIES SUSPEND ILLEGAL GAMBLING OPERATIONS
Since last Thursday night the Tarrant County sheriff's office said 365 illegally operating gambling machines have been seized along with over $50,000 in cash, and nearly 20 persons have been jailed. Tarrant County Sheriff's deputies executed search and seizure warrants on four illegally operating gambling rooms late Thursday night and early Friday morning. The four locations were operating in the 7600 and 7700 blocks of the Jacksboro highway in unincorporated Tarrant County.  Deputies seized 163 gambling machines for destruction, approximately $34,000 in cash and made 13 arrests for outstanding warrants.
