MAN WHO CRASHED SUV IN FORT WORTH WAS APPARENT VICTIM OF STABBING
Investigators said a 37–year-old man who died late Wednesday after his SUV crashed into a pickup parked in a driveway was the victim of a stabbing, the Star-Telegram reports. His SUV pushed the pickup into a house. Police who were called to the 7800 block of Trimble Drive about 11 p.m. Wednesday initially thought that they were dealing with a serious wreck but called for homicide investigators after medical personnel said the driver appeared to have been stabbed, said Sgt. MAN INDICTED IN DALLAS OFFICER'S FATAL SHOOTING
The man accused of killing a Dallas police Senior Cpl. Norm Smith has been indicted. A Dallas grand jury indicted Charles Payne on capital murder and drug possession charges Thursday. The veteran police officer was shot and killed when he and other officers tried to serve a felony warrant for aggravated assault at an apartment complex in Oak Cliff.

PICTURE PERFECT ROBBER
Balch Springs police fear someone will get hurt if they don't catch a violent robbery suspect soon. The suspect has robbed the Valero gas station on June Road in Balch Springs twice in less than a week. He is also the suspect in a Feb. 9 robbery in Mesquite. In each case, police said the man is becoming more violent. In the second robbery, the clerk told investigators he had a knife, and in the third, he brandished a handgun.
