POLICE: MAN DRESSED IN BOXERS ATTEMPTS BREAK-IN
Denton police arrested a 48-year-old man Monday as he stood outside in below-freezing temperatures in only his boxers, allegedly attempting to break into a home. Police were called to the 500 block of Sycamore Street after a woman who lives on the street reported the man was banging on her door and trying to break in. An officer said when he arrived at the residence he found the man holding on to the doorknob at the front of the home, banging his head against the door and growling like a dog. According to the police report, as he was being loaded into the police car, the man told police "he was trying to get into the house to fight Satan" and that God sent him to fight evil at the residence.
