MAN FATALLY SHOT BY GARLAND POLICE WASN'T ARMED
Two Garland police officers investigating a report of domestic violence shot and killed a man early Monday morning who they say they believed was grabbing a gun. Abel Quinonez, 48, later died at a Mesquite hospital, according to a news release from Garland police. Click here to read this story on NBCDFW.com.

TEEN ARRESTED FOR ALLEGED CHILD PORN POSSESSION 
Officials with a suburban Dallas school district say a 16-year-old student's accused of having child pornography on his school-issued computer. Coppell district officials say the cyber crimes unit of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement arrested the New Tech High School student on March 23. Click here to read this story on NBCDFW.com.

DALLAS POLICE SPOKESMAN FACES PROTECTIVE ORDER
A Dallas judge has issued a protective order against Dallas police spokesman Sgt. Gil Cerda. His wife claims he abused her and her son and threatened to kill her and commit suicide. Cerda testified in court Friday and denied all allegations. He has been ordered to stay at least 500 feet away from his wife and her children.
