TEEN DWI SUSPECT ARRESTED AFTER CHASE, CRASH
Police arrested a 17-year-old suspected of drunken driving after a chase through Arlington ended in a crash. Several motorists called police Wednesday night to report a pickup truck swerving on Highway 360.  When officers caught up with Sean Dakota Craig, he turned off his headlights and ended up plowing into a car at Highway 360 and Pioneer Parkway, police said. The driver of the car was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Craig has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, evading arrest and DWI. His bail was set at $6,000.

RED OAK POLICE ARREST BURGLARY SUSPECTS
Two of four burglary suspects escaped custody Thursday morning after a police chase through two counties. Red Oak police tried to stop the men after spotting them at about 1:40 a.m. with two vehicles backed up to a closed gas station. One man escaped on foot while the other men sped away in the vehicles. Officers were able to stop one vehicle and arrest one man, but the other men led police on a chase into Dallas. The pair took off on foot after their vehicle jumped a curb in Oak Cliff.  Police captured one man, but the other one escaped.

CONFESSED KIDNAPPER APOLOGIZES TO WRONGLY CONVICTED MAN
A man who has admitted to kidnapping and rape, but will never serve time for the crime, is apologizing to the innocent man that did, the Dallas Morning News reported. Lemondo Simmons told the paper that he and a friend kidnapped a couple from Dallas' West End years ago, and that they raped the woman and terrorized another couple. Patrick Waller was convicted and served nearly 16 years before DNA evidence set him free last July.  Simmons and his friend will go unpunished because the statue of limitations has expired.
