MAN CHARGED WITH MEMPHIS TEEN'S SLAYING
Grand Prairie police have charged a man in connection with the fatal shooting of a Memphis teenager in Arlington. Bryant Jones, 20, was arrested in Grand Prairie on Tuesday and charged with first-degree murder, WREG-TV reports. Sixteen-year-old Telefario Mitchell died of a gunshot wound to the head on March 22. SUSPECTED CARJACKER ARRESTED AFTER POLICE SPIKE STOLEN CAR'S TIRES
Dallas police arrested a man accused of carjacking a woman late Monday night after finding the man in her vehicle and spiking its tires when he refused to stop. The woman was carjacked at knifepoint at Mockingbird and Abrams - which is near the locations of five other recent carjackings, police said.  Investigators said the man approached the woman inside a laundry facility and grabbed her keys from a table.  Police said the man has confessed to several previous carjacking offenses.

IRVING POLICE ARREST 3 IN SUSPECTED THEFT RING
Irving police said they arrested three people believed to be involved in a burglary ring that has committed crimes across North Texas.  A policeman on patrol spotted a suspicious car in the parking lot of the Homeplace Suites Motel located on the 3900 block of Airport Freeway. When he checked the plates and the vehicle identification number, the officer discovered the license plates were reported stolen in Dallas and the car itself was stolen from Richardson. TROOPERS CONFISCATE 400 STOLEN TVS
Louisiana troopers arrested a Dallas man after finding about $1 million worth of televisions in an 18-wheeler they stopped on Interstate-12 near Holden. Troopers say the rig was pulled over Monday afternoon for not displaying its license plate properly. A search was conducted after the inventory and the driver's travel itinerary didn't match.
