Apartment Arson Investigation
Dallas Fire Rescue responded to a small one-alarm fire just after midnight at the Buckner Terrace Apartments in the 8000 block of Rothington Road). They were called out again about four hours later to another fire that ended up damaging several units and went to two-alarm status before it was brought under control. No one was living in the damaged units. No one was injured in the fire. Fire investigators said the incidents are suspicious and could be arson.

Dallas Home Invasion
A woman in Lower Greenville reported a home invasion last night after waking up to find a man with a mask standing over her bed. She reportedly screamed, causing the man to run away. Dallas police are investigating.

Shots Fired in Lewisville Apartments
At about 3:15 p.m. Friday, Lewisville police responded to a call claiming someone had been shot at 201 West Southwest Parkway. Police did not find a victim, but did find evidence of a disturbance and asked area agencies and hospitals to be on the lookout for a gunshot victim.

Oak Cliff Robberies
Police said two men armed with a shotgun robbed at least seven people, most of them while they were getting in or out of their cars at home. The robbers demanded cash and car keys. Police said they may have one of the men in custody after finding what could be a getaway car.

Car Wash Car-Jacking
Police are searching for two people who stole a vehicle from a Dallas car wash in the 1000 block of South Buckner. The people shot the driver in the stomach and then drove off in his Lincoln Town Car. The driver is in the hospital.
