- Another Waffle House Robbed in Fort Worth: The latest heist was reported Wednesday night on East Loop 820. Waffle House workers tell police three masked men, one with a handgun, another with a hammer, entered the store and got into the cash register.
- Lancaster Police Arrest Shooter: Lancaster police with help from the U.S. Marshals arrested Cyntraze Jermond Wright, 17. Wright confessed to shooting of 14-year-old Nicholas Barnes.
- Objects Thrown Off Overpasses in Dallas: A driver tells Dallas Police something bounced off his windshield as he drove on Stemmons underneath Woodall Rodgers. The driver wasn't hurt.
- Hit and Run Driver Hits Gas Meter and Apartment Complex: Some Arlington families were forced to brave the cold overnight after a car slammed into an apartment complex in the 2800 block of Riverplace. Police say the driver lost control on Green Oaks, hit a gas meter, then slammed into the apartment complex. The driver left the scene, no one was hurt.
- Suspects May Be Linked To Aryan Brotherhood: Police are searching for two men in connection with the fatal shooting of a 24-year-old Weatherford man Tuesday morning. Police say they might be members of the Aryan Brotherhood . UPDATE: Johnny Preston Reed was arrested at around 1 a.m. by the Kaufman County Sheriff's office.

- Dallas Firefighter Arrested on Public Intoxication Charge, May Have Narrowly Escaped Being Robbed: A vagrant flagged down a Dallas Police officer and told him about the man passed out in his Dodge pickup, and about the four men he overheard talking about robbing the man.
- New Lewisville Jail To Be Dedicated Thursday: There's a new place for criminals to get locked up in North Texas. The Lewisville Police Department will have an open house and dedication ceremony for the new jail in the 1100 block of Main St.
- Teen Gets 20 Years in Youth Commission for Killing: 20 years in the Texas Youth Commission facility for a 15-year-old convicted of helping another teen in a robbery and fatal shooting in July.
- Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD Superintendent Arrested on DWI Charge: Annette T. Griffin was arrested in August and has since taken a leave of absence.
- Arlington Man Sentenced for receiving child pornography: A judge sentenced Stephen Watson to 87 months (more than 7 years) to federal prison. Watson pled guilty to receiving child pornography.
