Crews have rescued a man trapped in a trench in Irving.[[487687941,C]]
The incident is happened in the 1900 block of Hurd Drive. Officials were called to the scene at about 1 p.m. Monday.
Irving police say the man was working at the construction site when he got stuck up to his waist in the trench.
After more than two hours, the man, who hasn't been identified, was removed from the trench. He is at a hospital for evaluation.
Officials with the Irving Fire Department said he's in good spirits.
Irving police and fire departments assisted in the rescue, as well as the Coppell Fire Dept.
