A truck carrying a concrete beam lost its load on a direct connector from northbound Interstate 35W to westbound Loop 820 in North Fort Worth Thursday, closing the roadway.
The beam apparently slid from the trailer and onto a retaining wall before coming into contact with a concrete column for a bridge currently under construction, causing visual damage to both.
No injuries were reported.
The connector remained closed late Thursday night, officials said, and motorists are advised to expect significant delays and seek alternate routes.
