Three people were injured, including two paramedics, in a series of crashes on Interstate 20 Thursday morning.
The first crash happened on the exit ramp for Spur 408, injuring one person. As an ambulance was responding to the initial crash, it was involved in a crash as well. Two paramedics who were inside the ambulance and were taken to the hospital as a precaution.
None of the injuries were considered serious.
The crash closed all but one lane on I-20, causing traffic to back up for miles.
