Cowboys Stadium Liquor Sales Investigated

An investigation of liquor sales at Cowboys Stadium has been launched after the facility's general manager was arrested on a DWI charge hours after the venue's inaugural event.

Sgt. Terry Parsons in the Fort Worth district office of the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission said the investigation is in the early stages, and a field agent is awaiting the release of Arlington's police report, The Dallas Morning News reported.

Arlington police said 53-year-old Jack Hill was arrested for suspicion of driving while intoxicated early Sunday during a two-vehicle wreck in which no serious injuries were reported.

Parsons said the TABC investigation will explore possible employee intoxication on a licensed premise and could involve a civil rather than a criminal penalty.
