Cowboys Fans Line Up for Playoff Tickets

Dallas Cowboy fans evidently are excited about the team playing the Detroit Lions in the first round of the 2014 NFL playoffs, as many of them wanted to make sure they got a ticket to the game.

Fans started to line up outside AT&T Stadium Friday night and, by Monday morning, there was a line forming around the stadium. Tickets went on sale Monday at noon.

On, the cheapest tickets on the upper levels were going for $105. Tickets to the party pass area were listed at $56. If you want one of the better seats you can pay nearly $40,000 and rent a suite in the stadium.

Many fans we spoke with in line said they did not mind waiting in the cold to purchase a ticket.

"Cowboys haven't been to the playoffs in a couple of years,” said Cowboy fan Kory Walker. “It's going to be a hot ticket, a hot commodity. I didn't want to miss out on the opportunity."

A few fans in line told NBC 5 they plan to purchase a few extra tickets and try to resale them online to get a profit.

Season ticket holders should have already received their tickets. The Cowboys were the only team in the league to reprint and send out playoff tickets for season ticket holders in advance.
