Cow Suits Score Free Chicken Today

Chick-fil-a marks Cow Appreciation Day

Talk about your act-now-to-take-advantage-of-this-special-offer deals, but today is Cow Appreciation Day at area Chick-fil-A shops, and to celebrate the fast-foodies are giving away free sandwiches.

Ah, but there’s a catch. There’s always a catch.

To score said free eats, though, one must dress as a cow. I’m not exactly sure how cows dress, but it probably would be in casual attire.

They might even give extra credit to people who decorate their vehicles in bovine-themed, um, decorations to cruise the drive-through lane. Then again, maybe not.

Anyway, a representative of the company’s advertising people — The Richards Group in Dallas, which created the semi-literate cows — in an e-mail message, said about half a million sandwiches will be given away today across the United States. It boggles the mind to think that 500,000 people in this county have cow suits. Then again, more than half a million people like the Heinz ketchup Facebook page so go figure. What the hell, people, don’t you have anything better to do?

OK, sorry, so the free-sandwich-for-a-cow-suit promo runs through lunch and dinner until the local shop closes tonight, so don those cow duds and eat for free.
