Some members of The Colony police force received generous New Year's gift.
The police department posted a photo of a note on their Facebook page that was left for a few of their officers at a restaurant.
The note read, in part, "Tonights [sic] dinner is on my wife and I. We are forever grateful for your service!"
The police department posted the note to thank the anonymous couple for paying for the meals.
