The City of Coppell began ground spraying for mosquitoes this week.
A diluted pesticide was sprayed in an area near MacArthur Park after a moquito tested positive for West Nile virus.
City officials are asking the public to eliminate any stagnant water where mosquitoes may breed.
City officials said the pesticide is not harmful to humans or pets.
